Meet Our Coaches

Judy Byorick KYCA President Freshman Coach

My name is Judy, and this is my 4th year coaching the freshman squad.  Cheer has been a huge part of my life since a young age, and I am beyond thrilled to be given the chance to foster the same love of cheer in our community's youth.  I started off cheering for a rec team much like the Kingsway Dragons, moved on to all-star competition cheer for a few years, I was captain of my high school cheer squad, and even went on to cheer in college.  You will often hear me say cheer is in my blood and I truly believe that.  My passion and love of the sport shows through my high energy and spirited coaching and I hope my cheerleaders are able to have fun while learning cheerleading basics.  I am also thrilled to watch my daughter follow in my footsteps cheering for the dragons as well as a local competition squad! This year I was given the chance to step up as president of the Kingsway Youth Cheerleading Association and looked at it as a chance to build the organization toward bigger and better things.  With the most registered cheerleaders we have ever had we are looking forward to the best year yet!

Kenyetta DiSandro Sophomore Coach

Kenyetta DiSandro has mentored young girls through dance since 1990. She has been contracted to train models age 3 to adults. Kenyetta is a tristate area runway model herself which includes print, billboards, and television. In 2003 she became a Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleader, cheering on the Eagles thru 2006. Kenyetta has used her experience on the football field, mentoring, and communication; and translated those values into a new endeavor as a Kingsway Youth Association cheer coach. This will be “Coach K’s” third year as our Sophomore level coach. From the tender age of 5, Kenyetta has been inspired by the sincere love of music and movement to perform in front of an audience. Coach K shows our Sophomore girls how to respect others, have patience, develop confidence, and ultimately to showcase themselves on the field while having a good time! On the squad also is Coach K’s daughter, Domani. What an overwhelming joy to have her daughter follow her footsteps thru cheer! We are excited to begin our 2023 cheer season and ignite our Kingsway Youth Football team.

Francesca Butterick Pee-Wee Coach

Hi there!! My name is Francesca and I will be coaching the Pee Wee squad this year as a co-coach with Stephanie. While Stephanie and I both have never actually coached, we come with tons of experience! Cheerleading has always been a passion in my life as I cheered in my North Jersey town (West Caldwell), from elementary school all the way through high school for numerous sports. In high-school, I was JV Captain for multiple seasons. I also previously participated in my churches CYO cheerleading and some minor competitions as well. I am 37 years old, married and have two children. I have a daughter, also named Francesca (5), who is on the pee-wee squad for the first time this year! I also have a son, Anthony (3). When I’m not on the field, or at home with my family, you can usually find me party planning and creating balloon arches.   Looking forward to a spectacular season this year and getting to know you all!!! GO DRAGONS!!!!
